In order to fulfill their service learning requirements, honors Chemistry students researched topics of enviromental concern (Global Warming, Petroleum Production, etc) and made posters on the topics. Seventh graders from Annapolis Middle School came to AHS. The AHS students presented their posters to the AMS students. All the students then planted trees on the AHS Trail or buried coke bottle bottoms to begin a run-off study involving wildflowers.

Career Day is a complete school day that instead of your classes you have speakers talking about what/where you can go from that certain class. It helps students prepare and plan for their future, while also giving insight on different life paths. It also thankfully, gives the teachers a day to sit back and watch their students learn.
