We celebrate mole day so that students will still remember moles 30 years later. The activities are a play on the word "mole" which is really a measure of quantity- like 1 dozen means 12, Mole means a very large number- 6.02 x 1023. Mole day gives students a chance to be creative and enjoy being together. - Laura Hack, Chemistry Teacher
