We believe that creative thinking will help students to see, feel, and appreciate the value of art in meeting their daily needs. The Art department allows for personal growth, creativity, and career development. A portfolio of work is required for each art student. Assessment project sheets/ self-evaluation, critiques, graphic planners, and journals are part of our everyday writing components. Multicultural diversity is part of our ongoing curriculum. It is important to provide meaningful hands-on learning experiences for every student. The artistic and aesthetic development of the students is accomplished by dedicated and caring teachers.  Some of their efforts are on view in our student gallery.
